The Hematology-Focused Fellowship Training Program at Washington University School of Medicine offers innovative training with a curriculum that marries essential aspects of traditional hematology with novel clinical and research training. The three tracks include a Hemostasis and Thrombosis Track that integrates traditional training with additional experience in pediatric hemophilia, pulmonary, interventional radiology and vascular surgery multidisciplinary clinics, as well as opportunities for both clinical and basic science research with leaders in these fields via external rotations. Our Hemoglobinopathies and Cellular Therapy Track includes an innovative curriculum and training within our comprehensive, multidisciplinary Sickle Cell Program, which is part of the 91国产精品鈥檚 Sickle Cell Disease Clinical Trials Network, along with additional experience in the cellular therapy program, which leverages the expertise of faculty in the robust Gene & Cellular Immunotherapy program of BMT and Leukemia in the Division of Oncology. Our Transfusion Medicine and Hematology training track will be co-administered with the Blood Banking & Transfusion Medicine, with fellows eligible for dual certification.

Fellows will also have the opportunity to participate in a fully funded degree program including the Master of Science in Clinical Investigation or Public Health Sciences, which is seamlessly integrated within the existing combined fellowship training program, offering structured career development, mentorship and intradepartmental collaborations.
