Meeting Resources
Use the following resources to plan your schedule, stay informed, and make the most of your attendance at the ASH annual meeting.
Schedule and Program
With so many sessions, events, and activities offered, it can be helpful to browse the Schedule-at-a-Glance ahead of the meeting. As you look through the schedule and read session descriptions, take note of events and activities you may want to attend.
Keep in mind that there are several events on Friday for which you may want to arrive a day early. These include ASH-a-Palooza, Friday Satellite Symposia, and Scientific Workshops.
2024 ASH Annual Meeting App
Elevate your ASH annual meeting experience with the ASH Annual Meeting app, providing access to the full annual meeting program, abstracts, and a host of features for seamless navigation and engagement.

Virtual Platform
The ASH annual meeting virtual platform will open on Wednesday, December 4, 2024, to all attendees. Most sessions offered at the in-person meeting will be broadcast simultaneously on the virtual platform, and attendees will have the ability to ask questions and participate in real time. The platform will also include on-demand recordings of all sessions (unless otherwise noted), as well as access to networking opportunities, exhibits, and more.
ASH News Daily
is the official newspaper of the ASH Annual Meeting and Exposition, highlighting each day’s sessions and events. The ASH News Daily website contains coverage of the four official days of each year's annual meeting in December, plus preview and wrap-up content. The website features informative articles on a wide range of Education and Scientific Program sessions and abstract presentations, written by an Editorial Board composed of distinguished ASH members. ASH News Daily also will be available in print throughout the Convention Center and at selected hotels.
ASH News TV
is a daily newscast in video format featuring previews and highlights from each day of the annual meeting. ASH News TV can be viewed in select hotels’ guest rooms, on the shuttle buses, in various locations at the convention center, on the virtual meeting platform, and on the ASH website.
Broadcasts are available Saturday through Tuesday during the meeting and will be available after the meeting on .
Hematology 2024
Hematology 2024, the ASH Education Program, will provide an updated and comprehensive review of each of the topics covered in the annual meeting Education Program sessions. The manuscripts are written by the Education Program session speakers and undergo peer review. A chapter on the Ham-Wasserman Lecture, as well as evidence-based mini-reviews related to the topics covered in this year's Education Program, will also be included. Each manuscript is accompanied by a visual abstract.
A digital edition of the Education Program will be available for all meeting attendees and ASH members. Printed hard copies of the Education Program will also be available for purchase in person at the San Diego Convention Center.
CME/MOC Accreditation of Hematology 2024
ASH will offer continuing medical education (CME) credit and maintenance of certification (MOC) points to physicians upon completion of multiple-choice questions based on the manuscripts in Hematology 2024, the ASH Education Program. The CME/MOC test may be purchased for an additional $80 during the annual meeting registration process or through .
ASH designates this enduring material for a maximum of 40 American Medical Association Physician's Recognition Award (AMA PRA) Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
PosterCast
While you are in the poster hall, use the free iPhone PosterCast app to view five-minute video presentations by the author. This tool is especially useful when viewing posters while the author is not present in the in-person poster hall.
You can view the PosterCasts on your device by visiting the PosterCast website at and signing in with your ASH credentials.
To use the app, scan the QR code on a participating poster or search the PosterCast website for the poster number. You will then be able to watch a five-minute video describing the poster’s content while you view the poster. A link to the PosterCast recording will also appear within the poster description on the mobile app.
Program Notebook
This book contains the complete schedule and comprehensive annual meeting program (as of the mid-October print date), including detailed information for the marquee and special-interest sessions, Education and Scientific Programs, trainee activities, oral and poster sessions, and ticketed events. A listing of exhibitors and Friday Satellite Symposia is also included.
The digital program book will be available for download in October 2024.
For the most up-to-date program information, attendees are encouraged to download the ASH Annual Meeting App (available in early-November 2024).
Second Screen Technology
Second screen technology, through the Conferences i/o application, enables attendees to view session slides in real time from most personal devices, including smartphones, tablets, and laptop computers. Conferences i/o allows for better viewing of images that can be difficult to see from the back of the session room and allows attendees to submit questions to the session moderator. Some sessions will also use this technology for audience polls.
Attendees in participating sessions will be given a unique URL via QR code, which will grant access to view the slides for that session only. The QR code will be displayed at the beginning of the session but may also be found by navigating to the session within the ASH Annual Meeting App.
