Scientific Program Sessions

Poster Walks highlight cutting-edge emerging science in hematology during the meeting. A total of seven Poster Walks will be featured during the meeting with some taking place virtually and others taking place in person in collaboration with the Blood Journals Studio. These signature sessions are designed to be of interest to a broad and diverse audience and include the prestigious Plenary Scientific Session, Best of ASH, and the Presidential Symposium. Many of the Marquee Sessions also honor distinguished leaders in the field through awards and special lectures.

Special Interest Sessions
These sessions provide the opportunity for ASH’s various communities to focus on specific topics of interest, ranging from coping with physician stress and burnout, to counseling fellows on careers in hematology, to the impact of ASH’s international outreach programs. The ASH Health Equity Studio is comprised of in-person microlearning sessions that provide educational content on various domains in health equity. ASH provides a variety of high-quality educational, career development, and networking opportunities to help trainees make the most of their meeting experience. These activities and services have been identified as most relevant to the unique interests of undergraduates, medical and graduate students, residents, and fellows and are open only to annual meeting attendees with a blue trainee badge.
