ASH Live Events Offering CME/MOC

ASH Annual Meeting

ASH designates this Other [blended live and on demand] activity for a maximum of 25 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the evaluation component, enables the participant to earn up to 25 MOC points in the American Board of Internal Medicine's (ABIM) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program. Participants will earn MOC points equivalent to the amount of CME credits claimed for the activity. It is the CME activity provider's responsibility to submit participant completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABIM MOC credit.

How to Claim CME/MOC or Request a Certificate

To claim CME credit or ABIM MOC points for your participation at the meeting, please complete the online program evaluations. For ABIM MOC points, you will be asked to submit a reflective statement on intention to change practice based on the knowledge gained from participation in the meeting. Upon review and approval of the statement, points will be submitted to the ABIM by ASH. A processing fee of $30 will be charged for CME credit/ABIM MOC points.

European Board for Accreditation in Hematology CME

ASH applied for CME accreditation with the European Board for Accreditation in Hematology (EBAH). To claim EBAH-CME credit for attending the meeting, please check the appropriate box on the . There is no fee required to be eligible for EBAH-CME credit. For information about claiming EBAH-CME, please stop by the CME Desk in ASH Central or email [email protected].

CME Certified Sessions for the 62nd ASH Annual Meeting and Exposition – Presented virtually December 2-11, 2020

This guide indicates which sessions in ASH’s programming are certified for CME credit. Not listed here are the Satellite Symposia, Product Theatres, and other programming that are not organized directly by ASH.

Attendees do not need to attend the live sessions as they air in order to claim credit for them. Attendees can view live sessions as they are broadcast or “watch again” after they have concluded; the play button on those sessions will change from Watch Now to Watch again a few minutes after the conclusion. Attendees have the duration of their meeting registration package to view content. The deadline to claim credit for the CME-certified portions has been extended to May 31, 2021.

Intended for clinical hematologists based in community practice in North America, the ASH Consultative Hematology Course covers commonly encountered clinical problems that arise in everyday practice and require the expertise of a hematologist. The course focuses on non-malignant hematology and uses case-based presentations and interactive discussions.

ASH designates this live educational activity for a maximum of 2.75 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits鈩. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

ASH is accredited with commendation by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education. The Society intends to offer continuing medical education (CME) credit for eligible physician participants in the workshop; other workshop participants will be eligible for a certificate of participation.

Workshop participants certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine or the American Board of Pediatrics who earn CME credit for the workshop will also be eligible to earn maintenance of certification credit for the workshop upon successful completion of a brief additional assessment.

2018 Meeting

ASH designates this educational activity for a maximum of 12 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
